When should I call Hercules Moving Systems Movers?

If you need to move today, we can do it. If you want a written on-site estimate, you should call us about 3 to 6 weeks before your move. Please contact us as soon as you decide to move, this way we can prepare your move with more time and careful planning. You can call us anytime, all our staff is available and ready to answer all your questions.

Our regular business hours are from 9AM to 7PM Monday through Friday, Saturday 10AM to 3PM Pacific Standard Time, We recommend that you go to our on line estimate feature which is available 24/7, and fill out your information. Otherwise leave a message, and your sales representative will contact you in a timely manner.


What are my responsibilities?

In brief ...

* Be present during the packing of your belongings.
* Take personal responsibility for jewelry and all other high value items.
* Check and sign the inventory of your belongings.
* Ensure that No prohibited items are packed.

So what can or can't I take with me?

Dispose of All flammable items, liquids, matches, lighters, solvents, paint, camping gas, corrosive chemicals, food, animals, extremely fragile items and others that should not be shipped. Anything that can deteriorate should not be shipped. If you have a question about an item you´re not sure about moving, just call and ask. .

Anything that is definitely a no-go area?

Well, mainly the things you might expect - drugs, alcohol, weapons, ammunition. Shipping certain high value items or collections may require you to purchase extra coverage

What about my car?

Our moving company does not transport cars as part of a regular local or long distance moves. However, we do recommend a very serious company, which specializes in this topic and has very satisfactorily helped our customers with their cars.

Suppose I pack myself?

Why not? But be aware of the potential problems. For instance, valuation coverage will not pay out on goods packed by their owner, unless the exterior of the box is damaged.

How long will Hercules Moving Systems take to pack my goods?

Every home is different but we can normally pack a home in ½ -1-2 days.

Can I leave my clothes in their drawers?

No , you cannot. Just be sure not to empty all drawers before the move.

How am I covered in case of damage?

Your belongings are covered by valuation. On local and interstate shipments in our out of, California Moving Companies gives you Mandatory valuation coverage of 60 cents per pound per article at no cost. You may chose to purchase more valuation coverage by declaring full replacement valuation for your goods. You are charged a premium on the declared amount. The premiums vary with your type of move.
